Over 3 million Brits in the UK have 5 or more credit cards, a debt management study by MoneyExpert has revealed.

As many people across the country rely on their plastic friend for spending money, credit card debt continues to grow in homes across the country.

The survey also found that 28% of those that already have a credit card regularly apply for more cards, and that 78% of the entire adult population now have a credit card.
